The meeting between Bruce Lee and Jesse Glover gave birth to a martial art from the different styles of Kung Fu.
Pierre Hartmann, Jesse's direct student continued this evolution with the NCKF that he brought to Europe and more precisely to Switzerland, in Geneva, which is where John Bourne learnt the art and brought it to the UK, in Plymouth.
NCKF is more than a martial art, it is a means of personal development using the proprioception of practitioners. Learning consists of adapting the elements to different people and their morphology.
Pragmatic, simple, effective and applicable by all, it is not a question of practising a style, but of evolving through a process.
NCKF is a direct response to the unexpected realities of the streets
Practitioners can have different approaches, the martial, sports and self-defence. Knowing that we work on the physical, mental and emotional levels.
NCKF gives each person a foundation to work with; one that allows them to progress at their own pace, based on skill level, motivation and/or physical abilities.
How far each student wants to take their skills is largely based on effort. What results from the training is an incredibly diverse physical exploration in martial arts that results in each student evolving his or her own “mini-system” as each student conceptualizes the ideas and training processes to make them their own.
