I’ve had the privilege of training with the best, including Jesse Glover (first US student of the legendary Bruce Lee) and this deep lineage in martial arts shapes the authenticity and depth of my teaching. It’s not just about learning techniques, it’s about learning from those who shaped martial arts history.
In 1959 a young future international martial arts superstar landed in Seattle Washington. This man’s name was Bruce Lee. A young man by the name of Jesse R. Glover soon became his first student, first assistant instructor and many say his best fighter.
Jesse went onto teach his own art of Non-Classical Gung Fu whilst also showing people what Bruce Lee was doing in his fighting period. Travelling around Europe Jesse taught his art. That is where I met him and got to stay with him at my instructors home Pierre Hartmann who had been a student of Jesse’s since the early 90’s.
NCKF is a direct response to the unexpected realities of the streets
Non Classical Kung Fu is a process where we employ non classical techniques in our quest to make you the best that you can be, we fit the system to the person, not the person to the system.
NCKF is a means of personal development using the proprioception of practitioners. Learning consists of adapting the elements to different people and their morphology.
Pragmatic, simple, effective and applicable by all, it is not a question of practising a style, but of evolving through a process.
